staying in Japanese guest house

Hi there,
second post about Japanese accomodation!
The place we wanna share this time is Gojo guest house which is located in Kyoto. Here, you can definitely have the warmest experience during the stay in Japan.

Such a small house, isn't it?
Let's get in then.

Seems the first floor is open for cafe, available for everyone!
You can have a seat with snacks and a cup of drink, feeling as if you were in Japanese local house.
Wanna have a look at the guest rooms, too?

The second floor has a couple of dormitories. It's able to accomodate 22 guests in total. They can have a sleep with Japanese bed which is called "Futon".

There are a small bathroom, laundry space and kitchen, too. They look a bit old, but can feel authentic Japanese daily life.

The owner was saying 90percent of the guests are not Japanese. Most of the guests arrive without specific plans for next day, so that they make friends with each other in the house and randomly go out together.
But the owner was saying "We are also very happy to have Japanese guests to make friends with people from overseas!"
Currently, Kyoto is getting extremely popular among tourists, which is making it difficult to book accomodations. Make sure to make a reservation beforehand !

For further information (fee, booking etc...), they got a website.
