Staying in a capsule for a night
Hey guys, here is the first post to introduce Japanese culture.
The topic is..... capsule hotel!!!
Any ideas? Interested?
We went to take a look at onr capsule hotel, so that we can share what it is like with you
let's go then! follow us!
The one we chose is located in Shinsaibashi, Osaka.
Oops almost missed it.
Here we are! Asahi plaza Shinsaibashi capsule hotel!
Let's get in and have a chat with the staff!
Seems they have a couple of plans that meet various guests' needs.
You can always walk in without reservation unless it's full, and the price is still reasonable.
Staff speaks English, too.
Okay then. let's have a look at their guest rooms!
Hmm
Isn't this a laundry room?
No, this is where we are staying the night. One capsule for one person.
Bend down to get in. Enough space to stretch the legs out.
Not too bad unless you have claustrophobia.
Shut the curtain down. Oh there is TV available, too.
Before I start to relax too much. Seriously... I'm smelly... just too smelly.
Really need to bath. But such a small room, no bathroom inside.
What now?
Going down to the underground, found a public bath kind of thing.
Seems we are supposed to take off our clothes and everything, then share one bath with all other guests. (don't worry, that's what Japanese hot spring is supposed to be like)
(Omg it was so hard to ask all the naked guests to hide behind the pall.)
Good. ready to go back to my own capsule....
what?
too many things to distract me on the way.. cannot really go straightaway
okay finally, ready to sleep.
Everything was all right. Nothing to complain about. And this price!
You should definitely visit our country to try capsule hotel in the future!!!
